The Liverpool boss lost his temper and got dismissed in the final stages of his side’s win over Manchester City.

Jurgen Klopp believes he will be allowed to stay on Liverpool’s bench for their upcoming match against West Ham.

Klopp received a red card from Antony Taylor in the final minutes of his side’s crucial victory over Manchester City on Sunday.

The FA went on to charge Klopp for his “improper conduct”, but the German boss says he is positive he’ll coach the Reds from the touchline in their upcoming match.

“I think I will be there [on the touchline] because nothing really has happened yet,” Klopp said on Tuesday. “I don’t think something will happen, to be honest.

“I still think I should have dealt with the situation differently which I actually do usually. It was a very, very intense game that both managers didn’t understand with some calls. In Germany, we say it’s the one drop that let the bucket overflow.

“I am not happy with my reaction but that’s the way it was. I was sitting after the game and spoke to Anthony Taylor, how he saw the game and how I did. It was a calm discussion. But we wait for the process.”

Liverpool returned to winning ways after three games by beating City. The eighth-placed side hope to claim their fourth victory of the season by beating the Hammers this Wednesday.
