Ahead of an assuring season in the Premier League, Harry Maguire is excited to play alongside his new Man United teammate Jadon Sancho.

After a long-promised transfer move of Jadon Sancho, Harry Maguire believes that the youngster will serve as a “real star” for Manchester United.

Succeeding a period of ups and downs, the Red Devils finally secured the England international from Borussia Dortmund. All it took was several transfer windows and a massive financial structure that made the signing possible.

Sancho delivered high-class performances in Germany, however, was poised to make a return to his homeland. And now that the 21-year-old has arrived at Old Trafford, Maguire is on cloud nine to see his national colleague appear in the Premier League.

Maguire, United’s captain told Sky Sports: “I think he’s been linked with us for a couple of seasons now. And it felt a bit like my transfer when I was joining Manchester United. Where it didn’t happen one season but the following season we managed to get it over the line.”

“I’m really excited for him, he’s an exceptional talent. He’s the type of player – with the confidence he has – who can be a real star for this club. And I feel like in the future and the success we have, he can have a big part to play.”
