After signing a new contract with AC Milan, Zlatan Ibrahimovic says he still remains motivated to win titles at the club.

Ibrahimovic might be 38 but he’s not letting go just yet and still remains active on the pitch.

The big Swede recently signed a contract extension with Milan, keeping him at the club until next summer at least.

Ibrahimovic was in good form for Milan last season, scoring 10 goals in 18 Serie A appearances.

He was integral in the club’s late charge to secure a sixth-place finish last term.

After joining his teammates in pre-season, Ibra says he’s ready to take the club back to where they belong.

Part of the above would include winning titles and challenging on all fronts.

“I’m very happy to be here again. Finally everything’s sorted and I’ve finally come back to where I feel at home – now we’ve got to work and achieve results.” Ibrahimovic told the AC Milan official channel.

“I’m not here to be a mascot. I’m here to achieve results and to help the squad, the manager and the club to take Milan back to where it belongs.”

“In the last six months we’ve done well but we haven’t won anything. There’s the possibility to start working hard and making sacrifices to achieve our goals.”

Ibrahimovic also added that he was looking forward to the return of fans at the San Siro.

“I feel fine and in form. I hope to see the Milan fans back in the stadium soon.”

“The team needs its fans that blow the roof off at the San Siro.”
