Zlatan Ibrahimovic agrees contract extension with Milan

According to multiple reports, Zlatan Ibrahimovic has reached an agreement with AC Milan. He will remain at the club for one more year.

Much has been said of the future of Ibrahimovic at Milan.

The big Swede has no doubt impressed at the club since he arrived in January. However, there was uncertainty as to whether the club wanted to keep their relationship with the forward.

Over the past few days, some reports from Italian outlets claimed Ibrahimovic already signed a new deal which could be announced by the weekend.

His agent Mino Raiola even dismissed those reports just yesterday.

Well, it turns out there might be some truth to the earlier leaked rumors afterall.

Fabrizio Romano confirmed on Friday evening that a deal is agreed between both parties. Ibrahimovic signs a one-year contract extension at United.

Further reports from Sky Sport Italia details that Ibra has no bonuses but a fixed salary of €7m in his new contract.

Zlatan contributed 10 goals in 18 Serie A games since his return. He will help the club build on their 13-game unbeaten run when the Serie A resumes on September 19.
