Luis Suarez lists some of his most memorable moments with FC Barcelona as he prepares to call time on his six-year spell at the club.

Signed from Liverpool in the summer of 2014, Luis Suarez arrived at FC Barcelona with high expectations but he managed to cement a legacy that will be hard to match.

The Uruguayan striker helped bring 12 major trophies at Camp Nou, including four La Liga and a Champions League.

In 283 appearances for the Blaugranas, he scored 198 goals – a tally that makes him the third-best goalscorer in the club’s history, only after Lionel Messi and Cesar.

‘El Pistolero’ will now embark on a new journey away, having sealed a move to Atletico Madrid.

Speaking in his final press conference for the club, Suarez insists he dearly enjoyed his time with the team and will always be grateful to Barca.

“I have experienced many moments that will remain in my memory. The first league title, the Champions League, to play with wonderful players. It has been incredible. I have had six spectacular and wonderful years with great team-mates and the people around the club, which I will remember,” he stated.

“I leave with a feeling of fulfillment. Being the third top scorer in the history of Barca is not easy at all.

“I want to thank the fans, who have given me a lot of love. I’ll not forget that.”
