The former Tottenham star might leave Inter soon, prompting Campbell to urge Arsenal to pursue him if such an opportunity arises.
Kevin Campbell believes Christian Eriksen’s past ties with Tottenham shouldn’t hold Arsenal back from signing the Dane if was to leave Inter Milan.
It’s no secret anymore that Eriksen is unhappy with his lack of regular opportunities at the San Siro. He’s only made the line-up three times in the club’s seven Serie A games, and recently admitted ‘this isn’t what I dreamed of’.
The 28-year-old didn’t rule out a departure in the January transfer window either, fueling talks of a return to north London – barely a year after he had left Tottenham.

But reports in the Italian press suggest he may suit up in red instead of white, amid rumors of a surprise trade deal involving Arsenal midfielder Granit Xhaka.
“Eriksen played for the rivals but we all know the quality he possesses, that is for sure,” Campbell told Football Insider.
“It is not quite working out for him at Inter right now and I am sure he would be a good addition to Arsenal’s squad.
“I do not care if he played for Spurs – he is a superb player who can bring something to the table for Arsenal.
“I would not mind it if we swapped Eriksen for Xhaka. The key is building and fattening that squad up to challenge and you can never have enough quality players.”
