The Spurs boss aimed a furious outburst at his squad after a disappointing weekend draw at Southampton.

Many Tottenham players expect a new manager next season, with Antonio Conte’s time at the club all but over.

That is according to Sky Sports. The players accept responsibility for the club’s lackluster results this season. That said, they feel Conte almost crossed a line by questioning their commitment and describing them as ‘selfish’ during his now-infamous rant on Saturday.

The 53-year-old Italian appeared to attack the club’s ownership and its players in a press conference. It came shortly after Tottenham dropped points in a 3-3 draw against Southampton.

Allegedly, Conte has told the Spurs board that his comments were aimed at the players alone, not the ownership nor chairman, Daniel Levy.

Conte’s contract at the Premier League club ends this summer. While Levy is yet to take action against him, he is widely expected to leave. Various reports are tipping former manager Mauricio Pochettino to return in the near future.

The question is when?
