After his stellar return to form against Huesca, Eden Hazard was also eager to respond to critics and revealed how he deals with pressure.

Perhaps pressure is something that not all players are equipped to handle but Eden Hazard knows exactly how to deal with it. From the moment he arrived at Real Madrid. He was very aware of the club he signed for and how hard he would be criticized if he didn’t perform. We have to say that the Belgian star is a special kind of footballer who can’t be compared to the rest. His level of self-confidence is through the roof as it should be for a two-time PFA Players’ Player of the Year winner.

Getting Hazard back to his best form seems only like a matter of time at Real Madrid. The problem here is that the supporters lack patience due to the lack of results in recent years and their winning mentality. Real Madrid is arguably the most demanding club in the world and has no patience for any player who takes long to adapt. But Hazard is very used to experiencing pressure and today he proved he can handle it despite things getting a little personal against him on social media.

Eden’s response to all his critics.

Over the last year, Eden Hazard has suffered all kinds of criticism due to his lack of activity with the club. Despite this, he always tries to remain positive and he confirmed that bullying doesn’t hurt him. While talking to La Liga’s channel, he said: “I’m happy for the team, for me, for everyone. You know I had a little problem last year at the beginning of the season.

“I hope this problem is behind me and I can look to the future. Pressure is normal, it’s part of football. I’m a good player so people ask me a lot but I can deal with the pressure. It’s not a problem. When I’m on the pitch, I know what to do and I know what I can do also. My goal? I just received the ball from Fede (Valverde) I think, and I just turned to shoot.

“I was a bit lucky but I have done this at Chelsea and in France as well, with my left foot. Injuries are part of football. I’m used to play football with not many injuries but now I need to learn how my body is working because I’m almost 30. I am not that young anymore but I hope all the problems are behind me and the future is good.”
