It finally happened, Eden Hazard made the expected comeback we’ve all been waiting for at Real Madrid against Huesca today.

It happened during a day match against Huesca, Eden Hazard showed he is back to his form as a Real Madrid player. All the club’s supporters were given up on the Belgian playmaker due to his attitude off the pitch. To most of them, he simply showed that he didn’t care much about the institution when he failed to take care of his body during the quarantine.

Hazard knew that he needed a good performance in order to make the fans realize he is willing to make an effort. Los Blancos did pay €110 million for him, which is still a lot of money for any player. As we saw him get back to the training ground over the last couple of weeks, Hazard increased his chances to start a match.

It was just yesterday when there was a reported conversation between the player and Zinedine Zidane. Eden wanted his chance to start against Huesca and the French manager granted him his wish. The French manager lined Eden Hazard up next to Karim Benzema and Marco Asensio on the attack.

Hazard’s scores after nearly a year.

It took him a good half hour to get back in rhythm during the match against Huesca, but he finally got there during the first half’s final 15 minutes. He flicked, he turned, he combined several times with Marcelo and Benzema. With five minutes left in the first half, he received a pass with his back against the Huesca goalkeeper and still a long distance.

As he turned to clear his path from a defender’s marking, Hazard didn’t think about it much and released a potent strike. A missile that left everybody stunned, even his own teammates. From that moment forward, we got another fantastic 20 minutes from him before Vinicius took his place during the second half.

Zidane knows he needs to take Hazard slowly in order to keep him away from any injuries. The game’s final result was a resounding 4-1 victory with two goals and one assist from Karim Benzema. But Hazard’s performance is the best news of the day for Los Blancos.
