Ahead of this summer’s Euro 2021, Harry Kane opened up about his dreams for England in this tournament that is taking place soon.

England’s Harry Kane is very excited for what could happen during the Euro 2021 in the summer. The Three Lions have an atypical generation of players who are wildly talented and potentially better than the previous one. They already reached the World Cup semifinals in 2018, which is a massive achievement for the country. However, several new players emerged since then and the squad can probably improve even further.

With Kane as their skipper, this team will be a problem during the summer tournament. Harry is convinced that having two English clubs in the Champions League final will directly affect the national team in a positive manner. There are many great young players who will play this final such as Phil Foden or Mason Mount. For Kane, the experience of a final is unlike anything else for such great talents.

Kane’s high hopes for England this summer.

During a recent interview on BBC Sport, this is what Harry Kane said about England’s chances at the Euro 2021: “We have a lot of English players playing at the top of their game. That should only help us as a national side. Our group has grown stronger year by year. We’ve got a good mix of experience and young talent and it’s important to have that, especially in a tournament environment.

“I’m sure Gareth has got a bit of a headache of who to pick but that’s what we want. We want competition for places and that’s the only way we’re going to be one of the best teams in the world. We had a great World Cup in 2018. We didn’t quite get over the line, so with the players we’ve got and the manager and the group of staff it’s a great opportunity for us and we’re excited for the challenge. We know it will be difficult but we’ve got enough ability to try and take it all the way.”
