Erling Haaland will be back on the field sooner than expected as Borussia Dortmund plan their trip to Wolfsburg this weekend.

Erling Haaland is potentially on the track to make his return to the Borussia Dortmund squad earlier than expected.

As we all saw, the Norwegian goal-machine sustained a hip injury which asked him to go under rehabilitation until Christmas.

However, the 21-year-old striker has reportedly tackled the injury successfully and is on the road to complete fitness.

Marco Rose provided an update on Haaland’s comeback ahead of their trip to Wolfsburg this Saturday.

The BVB head coach told the reporters while providing updates on the squad: “Mo Dahoud feels good and is a candidate to play, the same applies to Emre Can.”

“Youssoufa Moukoko is doing better, he has trained. Marius Wolf is there, Erling Haaland will also be on the bus.”

“Jude Bellingham is out and with Rapha Guerreiro, we have to wait.”

Dortmund will only hope that their most prolific attacker sees some minutes of action against Wolfsburg this weekend.
