As part of a fresh ‘Universo Valdano’ episode, Antoine Griezmann decided to open up about the whole Messi drama he is currently experiencing.

The whole drama between Messi and Griezmann has been one of the most talked-about subjects in recent weeks. After a number of statements made by the French forward’s inner circle, speculation about his bad relationship with Messi started going wild.

It all happened during the international break and it left the world with a burning wish to know the truth behind everything. Griezmann tends to talk about these controversial subjects in a very public manner as he’s done in the past. During his time as an Atletico Madrid player, he decided to do a documentary to reveal his desire to remain at the club one more season.

Now that he is having some issues with this whole Messi drama, it’s time for him to speak up. Jorge Valdano was the one who got the scoop through his ‘Universo Valdano’ show on Movistar Plus. The program will air on national Spanish television at 23:00 later today, but we got ourselves a preview.

Griezmann threatens to tell his side of the story.

In a short preview of the interview that will air later, Antoine Griezmann seems eager to respond to everything. These interviews with Jorge Valdano tend to be quite interesting as he always asks the most poignant questions to his guests. Antoine Griezmann is arguably one of the most important figures in FC Barcelona’s recent events. As one of the most talented strikers in the world, it’s hard to understand why he is not playing at his best form with the club.

Valdano asked him when was the last time he spoke in public: “Since I arrived at the club, I haven’t spoken in public since my presentation as a Barcelona player. As I said that day, I didn’t want to speak outside of the pitch. I wanted to talk inside the pitch. That’s just how I am, talking with the ball at my feet is what I do best. But it’s time to set the record straight, right? I’ve taken so much shtick for a long time, so many comments and enough is enough.”

We’ll see what Griezmann says during this interview. Obviously, we will keep you posted.
