Barcelona’s Gavi is in the race to defend his prestigious trophy this year.
Tuttosport has announced the shortlist for the 2023 Golden Boy Award.
According to the Italian outlet’s latest Golden Boy Index, Bayern Munich’s Jamal Musiala has the highest chance of claiming the award.
Real Madrid’s new signing Jude Bellingham is closely following Musiala for his incredible performances at Borussia Dortmund.
Gavi, who won the award last year, sits behind Bellingham with 93 points. Another Barcelona star, Alejandro Balde, made the top ten for his consistent displays last season.

Musiala could become the second German starlet (after Mario Gotze) to claim the award. The Germany international registered 12 goals and 13 assists in his 33 Bundesliga appearances last season.
Musiala went on to complete his incredible season by scoring Bayern’s title-winning goal in their final match of the campaign.
