The former Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper has ranked the five best shot-stoppers in 2022.
Gianluigi Buffon believes Real Madrid and Belgium star Thibaut Courtois is the best goalkeeper in the world.
The Parma captain, who enjoyed two glory-laden spells at Serie A giants Juventus between 2001 and 2021, ranked Courtois above other world-renowned talents as the best on the planet, including Bayern Munich’s Manuel Neuer and his Italian compatriot Gianluigi Donnarumma.
Buffon named the following goalkeepers as the best in the world during La Gazzetta Dello Sport’s event Festival Dello Sport in Trento last weekend.
