Chelsea see £55m bid for Premier League midfield ace rejected
Brighton have rejected a £55 million (€63m) transfer offer from Chelsea for midfielder Moises Caicedo.
Chelsea made a formal bid this week, but it fell way below Brighton’s valuation of Caicedo. The Seagulls’ stance is clear, the 21-year-old Ecuador international is not for sale. They have no interest in parting ways in January. [The Athletic – subscription required]

Liverpool have offered Jude Bellingham a chance to become ‘the new Steven Gerrard’ at Anfield.
The Borussia Dortmund midfielder is one of the most in-demand young players in Europe. Newcastle’s nine-man transfer list revealed
Newcastle United have made a nine-man transfer list for January.
Chelsea trio Hakim Ziyech, Conor Gallagher, and Ruben Loftus-Cheek are on the list. As is Everton forward Anthony Gordon. Newcastle also like Leicester City duo Youri Tielemans and James Maddison.

Chelsea make a move for Bissouma
The Blues have made a formal to Tottenham about midfielder Yves Bissouma.
Despite the possibility of a swap involving Chelsea winger Hakim Ziyech, Spurs have offered no encouragement. The London club signed Bissouma from Brighton last July for €29.2 million. The 26-year-old has since made 22 appearances, nine as a starter. [Telegraph – subscription required]

Brozovic emerges as a target for Barcelona
Inter Milan midfielder Marcelo Brozovic is a potential transfer target for Barcelona.

Madueke closes in on Chelsea transfer
Chelsea have struck a deal with PSV Eindhoven to sign winger Noni Madueke.
PSV have given the 20-year-old Englishman permission to travel to London to complete the transfer. He may cost Chelsea around €35 million to sign.
