Arsenal told price to seal deal for LaLiga midfielder
The Gunners must pay Martin Zubimendi’s €60 million release clause to sign the Real Sociedad midfielder before the transfer window shuts.

Chelsea suffer a setback in Gusto chase
Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas has announced he expects Malo Gusto to stay at the French club until at least the summer.
The 19-year-old right-back has attracted interest from Chelsea. The Blues reportedly lodged a €20 million transfer bid on Wednesday, but Lyon rejected it. The Ligue 1 side wants close to €40 million. Gusto, who has accepted personal terms for a six-and-a-half-year deal with Chelsea, is out of contract in June 2024. [ESPN]

Three Premier League clubs interested in Dumfries
Inter Milan defender Denzel Dumfries has attracted interest from Manchester United, Chelsea, and Newcastle United.
The three Premier League clubs will have to pay around €40 million to sign Dumfries. The 26-year-old Netherlands international is under contract at Inter until June 2025. He joined the Italian club in 2021 from PSV for €14.25 million. [Gazzetta dello Sport – in Italian]

Bielsa heads to London for further Everton talks
Despite prior reports claiming Marcelo Bielsa and Everton reached an impasse, the former has now arrived in London for further talks.
Everton have made Bielsa their favored candidate to replace the fired Frank Lampard as their new manager. The former Leeds boss has his reservations, but he has flown back to England all the same. Ex-Burnley coach Sean Dyche is also in advanced talks with the Premier League club. [BBC]
Man Utd might sign Weghorst on a permanent deal
Manchester United may consider signing Wout Weghorst on a permanent transfer deal in the summer.
The 30-year-old striker joined the club on loan from Burnley earlier this month. He has already made three starts for Erik ten Hag’s side, scoring his first goal in Wednesday’s 3-0 EFL Cup win over Nottingham Forest. United are happy with how well their loan signing has settled in. [Sky Sports]
