A report has claimed former Arsenal man Aaron Ramsey would be open to the idea of a return to the club this summer.

Aaron Ramsey would leave Juventus straight away if Arsenal make a transfer offer for him this summer, according to reports.

The Welshman has struggled to make an impact in Turin since moving there from north London on a free transfer in 2019.

The 30-year-old has managed 30 appearances this season for Juventus but only 19 of those have been in the starting XI, with Ramsey only scoring two goals and providing four assists.

His stats were fairly similar in his first season at the Old Lady with recent reports claiming that Ramsey ‘is settled with his family in the city but continues to have language difficulties as well as tactical’.

His performances this season are understood to have ‘destroyed any relationship’ he had with the Juventus supporters and is ‘too insecure to become the leader of this lazy Juventus midfield’.

Ramsey has been linked before with a return to Arsenal with Mikel Arteta reportedly keen on the idea of bringing the Wales international back to the Emirates.

And now Italian website Il BiancoNero claims that Ramsey is ‘open to a farewell’ in the summer transfer window with the midfielder accepting that ‘his days at Juve are about to expire’.

Ramsey is ‘well inclined to a return to England’ as he ‘still feels capable of making a difference despite the difficulties encountered in Turin’.

Everton’s interest in Ramsey is understood to be ‘serious and intriguing’ but ‘would immediately leave’ if a return to Arsenal was made possible.
