Surprisingly, EA Sports has knocked three points each off Liverpool duo Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane.
Salah had a pace rating of 93 in FIFA 21, yet finds himself rated at 90 for the latest edition. While Mane was a 94 in pace in FIFA 21 but is down to 91 in the FIFA 22 game.
Barcelona forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has also slipped down the pecking order. Like Salah, the 32-year-old has gone from a pace rating of 93 in FIFA 21 to 90 in the FIFA 22 edition.
Hakimi, meanwhile, has improved by one point to a 94 rating in FIFA 22, as have Napoli striker Victor Osimhen and Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha.
Who is the fastest player in FIFA 22 overall?
The fastest player in FIFA 22 is Kylian Mbappe, who has a rating of 97 for pace in the game. The PSG and France striker is also the game’s cover star and is one of the best overall players, rated at 91.
Barcelona winger Adama Traore is the second-fastest player in FIFA 22 on a 96 pace rating. Joining him with the same rating is Bayern Munich wideman Alphonso Davies to complete the top three.
