Due to their past together at Chelsea, Cesc Fabregas feels entitled to offer his opinion about Eden Hazard’s tough times at Real Madrid.
Eden Hazard shared a lot of great moments with Cesc Fabregas at Chelsea FC, they remain good friends to this day. In a recent interview, the Catalan midfielder wanted to talk about the tough moments the Belgian star is going through. Much like we have said in recent days, Eden has been mostly unfortunate since he arrived at the club. Several injuries have prevented him from showcasing his true talents in the Spanish La Liga.
To Fabregas, this will change if the club remains patient with him. But more importantly, Cesc never imagined Eden Hazard would suffer so many serious injuries in such a short period of time. Due to their past together, the AS Monaco star still believes Hazard can revert this situation as a Real Madrid player. Hazard does have the quality to change everything in the blink of an eye. It’s only a matter of time before he gets back to his best level of performance.
Fabregas still believes in Eden Hazard.
During a recent interview with Goal, this is what Cesc said about his former teammate: “He knows what I think because I spoke recently and I told him what I feel. Eden knows he has been very, very unlucky. As I player, I think I was with him for five years and he was never injured, maybe only twice and mostly just small things. For me to see that, it is shocking because you could never expect someone so strong, who you had seen fighting day in day out.
“Playing every three days and not getting injured go to one of the best clubs in the world which was his dream to try and reach another level, and now this happens. Of course it makes me sad because I always said Eden had the potential to be whatever he wanted to be. He could win Champions Leagues, Ballon d’Ors and talent-wise, he is up there with the best. It is sad to see it but I still think if the little things going against him go the other way, then we will see the Eden we all know and love.”
