A new report has emerged about Eden Hazard’s injury problems at Real Madrid, we have a more precise time frame for his return.

Eden Hazard will be out of Real Madrid’s official call-up lists for at least three more weeks. You are reading correctly, the Belgian forward’s injury is way more serious than initially believed as he can’t get back to fitness. Zinedine Zidane confirmed that the problem he suffered by the end of September is much more problematic than everybody expected.

It is a muscular issue in one of his hamstrings that is also affecting his mental state. However, Eden Hazard’s physical issues started a year ago. It all went down during the Real Madrid vs PSG match in the Champions League’s group stage. The star was barely starting to recover his best form, he was playing the best match of his short-lived Real Madrid career that evening.

But an unfortunate tackle from Thomas Meunier was the reason everything fell apart for the star. We have a brand new update after that problem he had in September. It’s more bad news for Eden Hazard.

Hazard is set to miss El Clasico.

There was a level of hope for Eden Hazard to make it in time for El Clasico. However, Marca just revealed that the player won’t make an appearance until after the November international break. This leaves him with chances to be part of the call-up list for the Champions League match against Inter Milan.

Zidane spoke to AS about the Belgian star’s situation: “Eden stepped on the pitch again. The thing about his injury is that he took a bit longer to recover than we thought. I fully trust the people who work here with us, I also trust those above them. I hope we can see Eden back shortly and for good. I mostly want him to come back and remain with us for the rest of the season.”
