A fellow countryman of Eden Hazard has backed him to put the nagging injury struggles behind and prove his worth at Real Madrid.
Eden Hazard is finding it difficult to make an impact at Real Madrid this season – just like he did in the previous one.
Fitness issues have continued to be a stumbling block for the former Chelsea man who was brought in for €100 million with an expectation that he’d become the focal point of the team’s attack.
The Belgium international had a forgettable debut season at the Spanish capital as he missed a total of 26 games due to various injuries.
Hazard is yet to feature in the 2020/21 season and is even doubtful for the crucial and much-awaited clash between Real Madrid and FC Barcelona on October 24.
Much criticism has been sent his way for failing to fulfill the expectations at Santiago Bernabeu, but Thibaut Courtois is confident that his compatriot can find his feet very soon.
“I have no doubt, I am sure we will see the best Eden Hazard. He is the first with the desire to show it,” Courtois told Cadena SER on Wednesday.
“Just before his injury, he played several games very well and there he had such bad luck and getting out of that was not easy. But now this month I saw him train very well.
“I am sure that in no time he will explode and will to give many joys to the team.”
