The Bianconeri attack partners picked up knocks in the game against Sampdoria on Sunday, and now they’re set for a spell on the sidelines.

Paulo Dybala and Alvaro Morata have been ruled out of Juventus’ Champions League meeting with Chelsea and Serie A outing against Torino, Massimiliano Allegri has confirmed.

Dybala was forced to leave the pitch about ten minutes after he opened the scoring in Juventus’ 3-2 win over Sampdoria. The Argentine appeared to have suffered a muscular injury to his left thigh after he had landed awkwardly on his front foot.

Morata also failed to last the full match as the striker, who was feeling his hamstring after taking a shot, came off for Moise Kean in the final ten minutes.

“Dybala and Morata certainly won’t play against Chelsea or Torino. That is for certain,” Allegri told Sky Italia after the full-time whistle.

“We can only hope that we get them back after the break for international duty. This is part of the game, we have to keep going.”

Speaking at his post-match press conference attended by Football Italia, he added: “We’ll see how to play against Chelsea without Dybala and Morata.

“It’s not a decisive game anyway. The key games for the qualification are those against Zenit.”
