Karim Benzema was caught on camera venting his frustration over a Real Madrid teammate to Ferland Mendy against Gladbach.
Marcus Thuram’s double before the hour-mark left Real Madrid on the brink of another disastrous defeat on Tuesday before Benzema smashed home a volley in the 87th minute to reduce the deficit.
Casemiro’s stoppage-time equalizer then snatched a point at Borussia Monchengladbach.
But while Zinedine Zidane can breathe a sigh of relief at avoiding a club-record fourth successive European defeat, his side was left rattled by half-time.
1-0 down, and seemingly going nowhere in the game, a frustrated Benzema was caught on Telefoot cameras criticizing a teammate to Mendy in the tunnel.
The player in Benzema’s bad books is reportedly Vincius Junior.
“Brother, don’t play to him,” he told Mendy. “On my mother’s life. He is playing against us.”

Considering Benzema swore on his mother’s life that Vincius was bad news, it’s no wonder Mendy took his advice to heart.
The French full-back passed the ball to Vincius just three times in the second-half. The trio were also seen talking and gesturing to one another moments before the break ended.
It’s not the first time there have been reports of frustration in the Real Madrid camp either. It was only last weekend Isco was caught on camera complaining about Zidane’s refusal to play him more.
