Christian Eriksen struck from the spot twice as the Danes moved one step closer to qualify for the Nations League knockout stages.
Denmark snatched all three points from Iceland with a tight 2-1 victory Parken on Sunday night.
Christian Eriksen put the Red and White on the front foot by converting a penalty at the 12-minute mark. Vidar Kjartansson thought he had salvaged a point for his side after finding the net with five minutes remaining, but Eriksen stuck another, once again from the spot, in the dying minutes.
The Inter Milan midfielder could have had a hat-trick as he sent a powerful shot goalwards in the first minute of the second half, but Runar Alex Runarsson was equal to the shot as he made an impressive fingertip save.
Iceland, after suffering their fifth successive Nations League defeat, now face England, who were dumped out of the competition by Belgium, for the final group stage match.
