Ray Parlour believes Tottenham’s Dele Alli will be a great fit at Arsenal and will be a welcome addition at the Emirates Stadium.

Dele Alli could be on his way out of Tottenham and Ray Parlour thinks he could fit in with strong rivals Arsenal.

It was reported earlier this month that manager Jose Mourinho may not fancy the midfielder and has told him to improve if he wants to play more regularly.

Before Thursday’s Europa League tie against KF Shkendija – which Alli started – he had been limited to just 45 minutes of action so far this season.

Rumors of a potential exit began to swirl, with Paris Saint-Germain being heavily linked.

However, as per The Telegraph, the Ligue 1 champions have cooled their interest in the 24-year-old because they are struggling to agree on personal terms.

So where else could Alli end up? Well, pundit Ray Parlour has urged Arsenal to make a bid for the player, suggesting he’d fit in well with the Gunners. Tottenham might not want to sell to a direct rival but such a move has happened in the past

“£50 million has got to be the marker. One thing about Arsenal is that they lack goals from central midfield areas and [Alli] would tick that box,” the talkSPORT host said.

“I think Dele Alli would be more of a fit at Arsenal than Jorginho,”

“I don’t think Spurs would sell him to Arsenal; I think there would be uproar from fans if that happened, but he would certainly be a good fit for Arsenal.”

“Whether he could get more under Arteta? I don’t know. I’m not saying Jose Mourinho can’t get more out of him, he’s still pushing to get more out of him now.”

“But what Arteta has done with the other players and what I’ve seen from the outside, certainly they’re responding to him and I’m sure Dele Alli would be exactly the same.”

Mourinho recently mentioned the midfielder will get chances under him so there’s still hope for him on the white side of north London.
