Dele Alli continues to struggle at Tottenham and Peter Crouch says it’s about time the midfielder took a major decision.

Amid struggles for game-time at Tottenham, Peter Crouch has urged Dele Alli to consider leaving Tottenham.

The 24-year-old came close to leaving the club last summer following reported links to Real Madrid and PSG. However, none of those moves materialized.

From being a regular and an influential player at Spurs, Alli currently finds himself as a fringe member of the squad under Mourinho.

The Englishman has been introduced off the bench in Tottenham’s recent Premier League fixtures against Crystal Palace and Liverpool. However, cameos in both games only came to a total of eight minutes.

It got worse as Alli was totally overlooked in Spurs’ most recent defeat at the hands of Leicester City on Sunday.

Harry Winks finds himself in a similar struggle for game-time under Mourinho and Crouch thinks it’s time both players look elsewhere to play their football.

Crouch said to the Daily Mail on Alli “It’s time for him to go. I don’t like it when I see good players languishing on the sidelines and Alli has too much ability for it not to be utilized.”

“I am worried about Harry Winks, too, and wonder whether he needs a fresh start.”

“In terms of Dele, he has been linked with Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid.”

“We’ll see whether either of those moves come to fruition but I hope he has a fresh start to get his career back on track as he needs a new club.”

If he does not move soon, his career will stagnate because I think the fact Jose Mourinho didn’t include him on the bench [against Leicester] told you everything you need to know. There is no future for him in north London while Mourinho is in charge.”
