A return to winning ways and revenge will be on the cards for Manchester United when they take on Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park.

Palace claimed a stunning result in the reverse fixture on the opening day of the season. They beat the Red Devils 3-1 at Old Trafford.

A lot has changed since then, and United will fancy their chances of winning this one.

The Red Devils are one of only three sides in the Premier League to be currently unbeaten in their last five games. Three of those games might have been draws but it could be different at Selhurst Park.

With 44 goals conceded so far, a poor defense has been an issue for Palace this season. In fact, only four other sides have conceded more goals than Roy Hodgson’s men.

All of the above reasons as well as United’s away form puts them as favorites to win this one. Coming off the back of a goalless stalemate with Chelsea, we expect the Red Devils to win this one.

Crystal Palace Form and Stats

Crystal Palace have been up and down of late with three wins, three losses, and a draw in their last seven games.

Palace have kept two clean sheets in the last eight games, which may be a cause for concern against United.

Wilfried Zaha remains the club’s top scorer with nine goals. Palace have found goals hard to come by and have failed to score in three of the last four games.

A dramatic late 2-1 victory over Brighton came thanks to goals from Jean-Philippe Mateta and Christian Benteke last Monday.

A bore 0-0 draw on Sunday against Fulham kept Palace 10 points clear of the relegation zone.

Key Team Stats
  • Crystal Palace have failed to score in three of their last four games (Premier League)
  • Crystal Palace have not scored in their last two home matches in a row
  • Crystal Palace have not won seven out of their nine last home matches

Manchester United Form and Stats

Man United are in good form, losing just one of their last 15 in all competitions and going unbeaten in their last 20 away matches in all competitions.

Cause for concern maybe just the one win in the last four in the Premier League.

A 3-1 victory at home to Newcastle came courtesy of goals from Marcus Rashford, Daniel James, and Bruno Fernandes.

It was followed by a 0-0 Europa League draw against Real Sociedad and a 0-0 draw away to Chelsea at the weekend.

Key Team Stats
  • Manchester United have won their last four away matches against Crystal Palace (all competitions).
  • Manchester United are undefeated in their last 20 away matches (Premier League).
  • Manchester United have four clean sheets in their last 6 matches (all competitions).
