Man Utd will head off to Thailand on Friday without their superstar forward.
Cristiano Ronaldo won’t travel with the Manchester United squad to Bangkok, Thailand, on Friday.
The Red Devils have granted Ronaldo additional time off to deal with a family matter. The forward has been absent from training all week. He had originally planned to report back on Monday, but will now stay away from the squad for an extended period of compassionate leave.
It is unclear when, or if, Ronaldo will join his teammates for the club’s summer tour in Thailand, Australia, and Norway.
The 37-year-old, who has asked for a transfer this summer, has spent the past week training at the Portuguese national team’s headquarters.
