Cristiano Ronaldo could be involved in a move that will see him return to Manchester at some point in the nearest future.

Cristiano Ronaldo is set to establish a brand new 4* plus luxury hotel in Manchester city centre. The mega building will be located just behind the Halls Building near the Northern-Quarter.

The Portuguese talisman introduced himself to the world during his stint at Manchester United and it was no surprise he was granted approval to open a hotel by the City’s councils.

As per Building.co.uk, architects Feilden Clegg Bradley Studios have been given the green light after winning planning permission for the hotel situated on the corner of Piccadilly and Newton Street.

Moving to details of the proposed hotel, the building will fall under the Pestana CR7 brand and will now see CR7 own the third hotel to his name.

The other two owned by Ronaldo are situated in his hometown of Madeira and also his nation’s capital, Lisbon.

If you like to connect the dots, it would mean CR7 will now own a hotel in each area where he has represented a club. Or could it be some sort of speculation for his next move? We’ll see about that.

His Manchester project is reportedly set to include 150 rooms, but there is no mention of a proposed opening date.

As per the above source, the hotel ‘will see an 11-story tower, a grade II-listed Victorian office-cum-warehouse be renovated and repurposed.’

Another interesting twist is that Ronaldo’s ex-teammates Gary Neville and Ryan Giggs own joint hotels in the City and the pair will now have to battle it out for supremacy with a familiar face.

This is just one of many business ventures that Ronaldo has gotten himself into outside of football. As part of his high-class brand image, one can expect that the hotels will be designed to be luxurious and of high-quality.

The property is expected to be a big hit in a city where CR7 is still held in high regard to date.
