La Liga pair have eyes on Castillejo.

AC Milan’s Samu Castillejo is a subject of transfer interest for Atletico Madrid and Sevilla. A return to Spain could be on the cards for the former Malaga and Villarreal man, whose future at San Siro seems uncertain.

The 25-year old has fallen down the pecking order under Stefano Pioli, and Milan could opt to part ways with him either in January or after this season ends. [Mundo Deportivo]

Arsenal plotting Nkunku swoop.

Arsenal are planning to ramp up their pursuit of RB Leipzig’s Christopher Nkunku. Ahead of the move, they have already initiated talks with the player in whom their interest dates back to Unai Emery’s spell in charge. Inter still interested in Firpo.

Inter Milan remain keen on signing Junior Firpo from FC Barcelona despite facing disappointment in their earlier pursuit. The Italian outfit approached the Spanish side for a potential transfer for the versatile 24-year old but were put off by his hefty €40 million price tag.  

With the hope that Barca would lower their valuation next year in light of the COVID-induced financial crisis, Inter plan on renewing their pursuit of Firpo. [Calcio Mercato]

Bayern against selling Alaba.

Bayern Munich are not interested in sanctioning the departure of David Alaba in the winter transfer window.

The Austrian defender is out of contract next summer and has been hesitant to commit to a new deal. Amid uncertainly of the future, he has been linked to a host of clubs from across Europe, but Bayern are against selling him mid-way through the season. [Sport Bild]

Manchester United have approached Cristiano Ronaldo regarding a potential return to the club next season. The Portuguese superstar is understood to be considering the move.
