The evergreen Portuguese frontman has reached a new milestone in his Al Nassr career.
Cristiano Ronaldo notched his first goal in the AFC Champions League on Monday.
The 38-year-old’s goal etched another milestone in his illustrious career. It was his maiden strike in Asia’s premier club competition. The goal also paved the way for Al Nassr to pull off a 3-1 comeback victory over Tajik side Istiklol, having fallen behind before half-time.
“Good game from everyone on the team!” Ronaldo posted on social media afterward.
“Happy to have scored my 1st ACL Champions League goal! We keep winning!”
Al Nassr, who sit top of Group E with six points from two AFC Champions League matches, are riding a 10-game winning streak.
Ronaldo has been at the center of the club’s success. The Portuguese maestro has scored 11 goals in 10 appearances across all competitions this season. His ability to find the net remains unparalleled, even at the age of 38.
Al Nassr will next face Abha in the Saudi Pro League at home on Friday.
