The Portuguese’s brilliant form has been recognized by Juventus in the form of the club’s MVP award for December.

Juventus have awarded Cristiano Ronaldo the MVP of the Month award for December 2020 after another round of eye-catching contributions.

The forward capped off another impressive year by scoring seven goals in only seven appearances across all competitions in December. His best moment was a brace against Barcelona in the famous 3-0 Champions League win at Camp Nou.

“It is difficult to write something about Cristiano Ronaldo that has not yet been said or written elsewhere,” read a club statement.

“Suffice it to say, his form was unmatched in the 32 goals he scored in 32 appearances for us in all competitions. In addition, he also managed to record his ninth goal in the last 10 cup finals played with clubs. Moreover, CR7 has scored 20 goals in 31 club finals (also taking into account the home and away matches).

“Finally, on Wednesday, he scored a decisive goal that opened the game against Napoli and brought the Super Cup to Turin.

“As such, it comes as no surprise that his contribution was decisive last month too, to say the least: this is why the fans voted for him on Juventus.com after each match, electing him MVP of the Month, Powered by eFootball PES 2021.”

Ronaldo is set to be presented his MVP award before Juventus’ Serie A match against Bologna on Sunday afternoon.
