Camp Nou Stadium will finally get us that replay of the biggest rivalry in sports as Barcelona faces Juventus. We have the player ratings.

Tonight was the night in which Juventus finally played against FC Barcelona with Cristiano Ronaldo and Messi on the pitch. Camp Nou Stadium was ready for this hyped up match between the two biggest squads in Group G. Barcelona was coming from a perfect run thus far against the Bianconeri, Ferencvaros, and Dynamo Kyiv.

But they still needed to face Juventus with Ronaldo inside the starting eleven. Keep in mind that the Portuguese star missed the previous game due to a Civd-19 positive test. From the get-go, Cristiano proved he improves his teammates in spectacular fashion. He provoked an early penalty he transformed into the first goal of the evening.

Not soon after that, Weston McKennie scored an incredible volley after a sublime assist from Juan Cuadrado. FC Barcelona was proving that all the hype surrounding them in the competition is completely fake. With a momentary 0-2 result, both sides went to the dressing room.

Ronaldo nets a brace early in the second half.

Right after the break, Cristiano Ronaldo got a chance to score a second goal after another penalty was awarded for Barcelona. Clement Lenglet committed a handball inside the box that the referee had to confirm through the VAR machine. Cristiano didn’t forgive Ter Stegen and scored Juventus’ third goal of the evening.

With this result, FC Barcelona gets in serious danger for the upcoming UEFA Champions League draw. They could face clubs such as Chelsea, Manchester City, Bayern Munich, Liverpool, among others. Barcelona’s performance tonight is just another red flag to the many aspects they need to improve with a sense of urgency.
