Antonio Conte is hoping for a big display against Juventus as Inter hope to stage a comeback in the return leg of the Coppa Italia semifinal.
Antonio Conte says the only way Inter can topple Juventus is by putting out a ‘perfect’ performance against their rivals.
Inter face Juventus in the decider of the Coppa Italia semi-finals at the Allianz Stadium on Tuesday.
They had suffered a 2-1 defeat in the first leg at the Stadio Meazza last week.
With the likes of Romelu Lukaku and Achraf Hakimi back in contention, Conte would fancy his side’s chances of wining the fixture.
With the final in sight for both clubs, the Inter boss expects a tough game at the Allianz Stadium.
Asides from a final berth, bragging rights are also at stake and the 51-year-old wants his side to make their fans proud with a big display against the Bianconeri.
“We know we must be the pride of our fans,” Conte told Rai Sport.
“The lads are aware that whoever wears this shirt must make fans proud, regardless of the result. This must be our mission,” he added.
“We must work and prepare the game in the right way, that’s the best thing to convince players they can win this game.”
“We must be determined and try to be perfect, because we can only beat Juventus with a perfect performance.”
