Inter Milan manager Antonio Conte talked about a swap transfer deal between Alexis Sanchez and Roma’s Edin Dzeko.

Inter Milan head coach Antonio Conte discussed his opinion regarding Alexis Sanchez and Roma striker Edin Dzeko’s swap transfer. The Bosnia international has been aiming to make a move away from Stadio Olimpico before the end of the January transfer window.

And some reports from Italy mention that Roma are in talks with Inter over an exchange of the two strikers. Moreover, Dzeko has been slipping down the pecking order under the new boss Paulo Fonseca. Also, Roma are looking forward to letting off the Bosnian attacker, and Inter seems to be a probable target for Dzeko.

In the meantime, the Chile international desires to find a new path to Stadio Olimpico. Conte received questions regarding the transfer talk during his press conference ahead of Inter’s clash with Benevento. The former Chelsea manager admitted that the club is open for any negotiations, but will not speculate on extra information.

Conte said: “I won’t talk about Edin Dzeko to Inter because he’s a Roma player. If there are some players unhappy here, we’ll be ready to open negotiations. I’m not asking to sign Dzeko, it’s up to the club. Sanchez is our player, I want him to be focused on the next match.”
