Leverkusen set for Gray swoop.

Bayer Leverkusen are poised to secure the signing of Demarai Gray from Leicester City.

The Bundesliga side have high expectations from the 24-year-old winger, hoping that he can make a name for himself similar to other English prospects Jadon Sancho and Jude Bellingham. [Sky Sports]

West Brom keen on Maitland-Niles.

Ainsley Maitland-Niles could depart Arsenal in January with West Brom “pushing hard” to pick him up on loan.

The versatile Englishman, who prefers to play in central midfield but can also operate as a full-back, is a subject of transfer interest for an unnamed top-four Premier League side as well.

It remains to be seen if Arsenal will allow him to leave ahead of a busy schedule in the coming months. [The Athletic]

Man City return for Dzeko?

AS Roma’s Edin Dzeko is hoping for a second stint at Manchester City.

The former Sky Blues striker’s agent Alessandro Lucci is working on a deal, though the move appears unlikely as Pep Guardiola’s side are not interested in signing him.

Dzeko, though, could be involved in a possible swap deal for Alexis Sanchez and move to Inter Milan in January [Corriere dello Sport].

Ligue 1 outfit interested in Todibo.

Nice are negotiations with FC Barcelona to sign Jean-Clair Todibo.

Currently, at loan at Benfica, the defender’s playing time has largely been limited in the first half of the season.

The Frenchman also appears to have no future at Camp Nou and looks set to return to familiar surroundings, having played briefly in Ligue 1 in 2018–2019 season [Gianluca Di Marzio].

Di Maria not planning homecoming.

Paris Saint-Germain attacker Angel Di Maria wants to continue playing at the highest level in Europe.

The 32-year-old winger was said to be interested in rejoining his boyhood club Rosario Central but he is not entertaining the idea of going back to Argentina just yet.

Di Maria has been linked with a move away from PSG with his contract set to expire at the end of the season. [Calcio Mercato]
