The Old Lady’s Scudetto streak appears at serious risk this season, and questions are being raised over their manager’s abilities.

Juventus were outplayed by Inter Milan in Sunday’s Serie A outing, suffering a 2-0 defeat away from home.

Goals from Arturo Vidal and Nicolo Barella in either half proved enough for Antonio Conte’s men to sweep all three points

Lacking creativity in the middle of the park and threat up front, the visitors struggled to break open the opposition defense and remained largely ineffective throughout the match.

A bigger issue, however, is that it was not the first time this season Juventus put in a lackluster display.

They have managed to win just nine of their opening 17 league games so far, dropping 18 points in total.

The defending champions, as a result, find themselves lagging much behind in the Serie A title race, sitting seven points behind league leaders AC Milan.

Juventus’ title credentials have come into question and so has Andrea Pirlo’s managerial abilities

Amid emerging doubts about whether the former midfielder, who didn’t even have his coaching badges when appointed as the head coach at the start of the season, is the right man to take the club forward, Roberto Mancini has some advice for Pirlo.

“It was a nice game and I was happy to see Barella scoring. It’s a nice victory for Inter,” Mancini said in an interview with Domenica Sportiva, as per Football Italia.

“Juventus can play a bad game once in a while, it happens in football.

“It’s normal to have problems at the beginning. Even if you have top players, coaching is not like playing. It’s normal, one improves slowly.”
