Various reports have claimed the PSG coach is on borrowed time at the Parc des Princes.
Paris Saint-Germain manager Christophe Galtier has told reporters he expects to stay at the club, revealing he is already planning to improve the team.
Despite Galtier being on course for Ligue 1 title success in his debut campaign, PSG’s last-16 exits in the Champions League and Coupe de France have poured doubts over his future at the capital club.
“We are working with [PSG technical advisor] Luis Campos on the architecture of the squad for next season,” Galtier said at a press conference on Thursday.
“We’ve talked about the modifications that we want to make to improve the team, to perhaps have more variety in our game and to have a better balance.
“We have been working for weeks, and last week more specifically. I project myself to be the coach of next season.”
Reports have linked AS Roma manager Jose Mourinho as a potential replacement for Galtier if PSG decide to not retain the Frenchman for next season.
The Parisians will visit bottom side Angers on Friday for their latest Ligue 1 match.
