The Saudi Arabian giants claimed the move fell through because Ziyech failed his medical.
Hakim Ziyech has appeared to dismiss claims that he failed his medical at Al Nassr.
Chelsea agreed to sell Ziyech for around £8m ahead of the next season. The Moroccan winger was set to follow in the footsteps of fellow teammates N’Golo Kante, Kalidou Koulibaly and Edouard Mendy, who have joined the Saudi Pro League ahead of the next season.
However, as claimed by Goal, a knee problem prevented Ziyech from passing his medical at the club. The former Ajax star has now hit back with a sarcastic post on Instagram.
He posted a photo of both of his knees with the caption, “knee problems right??” two laughing face emojis.
Ziyech came close to leaving Chelsea for Paris Saint-Germain last winter, but that transfer also fell through due to an unexpected issue. The two clubs failed to register the documents on time in the final hours of the transfer window, with Ziyech spending the rest of the season at crisis-ridden Chelsea.
The Blues now hope to start a new era under Mauricio Pochettino. Ten players have already left Stamford Bridge, with the club raising more than £200m in summer sales.
Following the collapsed move to Al Nassr, reports have emerged that Everton are keen to sign Ziyech. But the Merseyside club are yet to submit a formal offer for the 30-year-old, who is under contract at Chelsea until 2025.
