The Blues are open to selling Pulisic ahead of the next season.

AC Milan have reportedly made a €22m offer to sign Christian Pulisic from Chelsea.

The Rossoneri emerged as the favourites to sign Pulisic this summer. However, their initial offer of €14m was trumped by Ligue 1 giants Lyon, who made a €25m bid for the Chelsea star.

It seems Milan have now made an improved offer to continue negotiations with the Blues.

According to the Athletic, Milan are ready to pay €22m for the former Borussia Dortmund star. The English source claims Pulisic himself prefers a move to Milan despite Lyon’s more lucrative offer.

Pulisic made only 30 appearances across all competitions for Chelsea last season, registering one goal. Mauricio Pochettino’s arrival hasn’t seemingly provided the 24-year-old with an improved prospect.

Speaking to ESPN in June, Pulisic said of his future: “It’s absolutely a time where I need to figure out what’s going to be best for my future and be somewhere where I can go and play and be trusted and feel good in what I’m doing.

“I want to find that joy at a club level again, for sure.”

Earlier reports in English media claimed Chelsea were demanding around €20m for Pulisic, which means Milan’s latest offer could be enough to bring him to San Siro.
