One of the most exciting attacking talents, the Dortmund star could retrace his steps to the Premier League this summer.

Jadon Sancho’s “most realistic destination” has been revealed to be Manchester United in what comes as a heavy blow for the player’s other suitors.

According to Sky Sports, Manchester United negotiated personal terms with Sancho when discussing a potential move with him last summer.

The report adds that Borussia Dortmund have already started preparing for life after the talented winger, with the club “actively looking at alternatives” in case he leaves when the transfer window reopens.

The England international endured a slow start to 2020/21 but ended up having yet another productive season at the Signal Iduna Park, scoring 16 goals and supplying 20 assists in 38 games across all competitions.

Man United were heavily linked with the signing of Sancho last summer but were reportedly priced out of a deal. However, they could get him at a huge discount this summer.

Dortmund demanded a fee close to €125 million (£108m) for their prized asset earlier but are now prepared to let go of him for around €93 million (£80m), Sky Sports claim.

Sancho has also been linked with a move to Chelsea, who are reportedly willing to use Callum Hudson-Odoi in a player-plus-cash deal to tempt the DFB-Pokal champions into parting ways with the 21-year-old winger.
