On the final day of the summer transfer window, Chelsea appear to be on the brink of signing the Barcelona striker.
Chelsea and Barcelona have reached an agreement in principle for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
That’s according to Fabrizio Romano. The transfer journalist claims Chelsea will pay Barcelona a €14 million fee. The deal will include left-back Marcos Alonso heading to the LaLiga club in exchange for Aubameyang, who is expected to travel to London in the upcoming hours.

The transfer will go ahead despite Aubameyang suffering a minor fracture of his jaw in an attack at his home last weekend. The striker could face around three weeks sidelined. However, he should be ok to resume non-contact training next week. Chelsea are sympathetic to his situation and remain keen to sign him.
Various reports have claimed the Blues agreed on personal terms with the former Arsenal captain around a fortnight ago.
Chelsea are on the lookout for a new forward and midfielder before the transfer window closes.
Thomas Tuchel’s side have already spent €266.9 million this summer on six players, including Wesley Fofana, Marc Cucurella, Raheem Sterling, and Kalidou Koulibaly.
