AC Milan fans were left unamused when Casillas decided to offer their star goalkeeper Donnarumma some transfer advice.

Iker Casillas is in AC Milan’s bad books after advising Gianluigi Donnarumma to consider leaving them in the summer.

The 21-year-old is already regarded as one of Europe’s best goalkeepers, having been Milan’s No.1 since the age of 16 in 2015. In fact, he’s already made 226 appearances for the club in all competitions.

A bright future clearly lies ahead for Donnarumma, but will it be at Milan or not?

“In my opinion, Donnarumma should play for a club with more tradition,” Real Madrid’s legendary goalkeeper Casillas wrote on Twitter.

“My mistake!! Milan has a tradition. I mean more prestige in Europe right now. Good night to all!! See you tomorrow. Maybe….”

As you can probably imagine, Milan supporters didn’t take kindly to Casillas and his ‘opinion’.

One Twitter user Vicente Azpitarte, a Madrid-based ambassador for Granada, even called out Iker for his remark on Donnarumma by pointing out Milan have won seven European titles.

Chelsea, Inter Milan, Juventus, and Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly been linked with Donnarumma, whose contract at Milan will expire at the end of the season.

The 22-time Italy international, however, is in talks with Milan for a contract extension amid reports of a €7m-per-season offer.
