Dani Carvajal plans to finish his career at Real Madrid with one more Champions League title, and he explained what makes Zinedine Zidane special.
Carvajal is a product of Real Madrid’s famous youth academy ‘La Fabrica’ and has been associated with the club since the age of 10, climbing all the way up from the junior squads to the first-team itself.
He briefly left Los Blancos for Bayer Leverkusen in 2012 only for the club to re-sign him a year later following his impressive exploits in the Bundesliga.
The 28-year-old has since owned the right-back spot at the Bernabeu and helped Real Madrid win 16 trophies, including four Champions League titles and most recently a second LaLiga crown.
Despite his overwhelming list of silverware, however, Carvajal isn’t satisfied yet and would like to win Europe again.
“I would love to win many titles,” he told Esquire. “I would like to retire in white.
“I have won everything with the club and, at the title level, it is difficult to ask for more.
“But I would like to win a fifth Champions League with Real Madrid. This era will be remembered as one of the club’s top three.”

A key part behind Real Madrid’s success over the last five seasons is down to Zinedine Zidane, who has excelled time and time again as head coach of the Meringues.
The Frenchman, who returned last year for a second spell in the dugout, rebuilt Real Madrid into a title-winning unit once more and led them to a record 34th LaLiga title last season.
“His greatest virtue is the tranquility that he transmits to us,” Carvajal said on what makes Zidane special.
“He never alters and, whether things go right or wrong, he keeps his composure. That is something that gives the players a lot of peace of mind.
“In addition, his strong point is that he trusts the squad a lot. He makes us feel that we can all contribute, and that makes his team a winning team.
“I have won many titles with him, and I learn from his experience daily.”
