Paris Saint Germain marched on to the Champions League final, the question now is can anyone stop Thomas Tuchel’s men?

PSG have finally broken the hoodoo.

Thomas Tuchel said earlier in the year that if he could get his side past that first knockout stage of the Champions League they would have the mental capacity to go all the way.

Well fast forward a few months and the German tactician was right.

Paris Saint Germain have been far formidable in Europe’s elite competition, to say the least, this season.

Although with five wins and a draw in the group stages, including a matchday one three-nil win over Real Madrid set the wheels in motion.

Only Bayern Munich bettered their points tally of 16, after winning every game in their group.

They have not been convincing since then and perhaps it is that kind if luck that has us wondering is it their year?

The knockout stages saw them get off to a rocky start. They suffered a two-one defeat at the hands of Borussia Dortmund and many were crying that the Paris side had bottled it once more.

But Neymar, Mbappe, Di Maria and company came good and progressed, exacting revenge on the Black and yellows in Paris right before the lockdown.

The next round saw two late, late goals help them overcome the fearless underdogs that were Atalanta.

This was followed by the semi-final domination of RB Leipzig three-nil. But this was without their stars shining at their brightest.

The question now is can they go all the way. They will likely play Bayern Munich, although Lyon cannot be counted out just yet.

But the last-minute goals against Atalanta. The way Di Maria reminiscent of his final glorious year with Real Madrid is pulling the strings.

Then consider, they are doing all this with Neymar struggling to find the back of the net, and Mbappe just coming back from injury.

What do you think is lady luck going to make PSG’s year?

According to Odds Checker, the bookies have their doubts. They back Bayern at 4 to 7 on. PSG are second favorites at 13 to 8. With Lyon the rank outsiders at  20 to 1.
