The Norwegian hitman yet again stole the headlines as he broke a couple of records in an absorbing clash on Tuesday night.

Borussia Dortmund boss Edin Terzic hailed Erling Haaland as “just outstanding” following his record-breaking performance against Sevilla.

Haaland scored both the goals in Dortmund’s 2-2 stalemate with Sevilla in the Champions League Round of 16 second-leg tie as the German giants progressed to the quarter-finals stage on a 5-4 aggregate result.

The striker became the quickest player in Champions League history to hit the 20-goal mark, reaching the milestone in just 14 games.

He also became the youngest player ever to score in six consecutive Champions League games at 20 years & 231 days. Furthermore, he is also now the first player to score at least twice in four consecutive games in Europe’s premier cup competition.

Erling Haaland is just outstanding,” Terzic told reporters after the match, via Goal.

Dortmund have advanced to the Champions League last-eight stage for the first time since 2016-17.

Terzic added on the result: “It’s been turbulent. We are just happy. It feels really cool. It’s not a matter of course for us to get this far.

“Now to be among the best eight in Europe makes us very happy.”
