What happened?

A lively first half saw both sides push for goals at Turf Moor, with United having the bigger share of the chances. The Red Devils finally broke the deadlock just before the break.

A brilliant through pass from Jonny Evans was volleyed into the far post by Bruno Fernandes. The stunning strike put United ahead as they aimed to claim their first victory in four matches.

Burnley pushed hard to get back into the game in the second half but lacked enough attacking edge to score. United, on the other hand, looked almost too unmotivated to increase their lead as they won the game with a 1-0 result.
