After the latest comeback against Newcastle, Bruno Fernandes still seems unhappy with some of his teammates’ level of performance.

Bruno Fernandes has been pushing his teammates to become better footballers since he arrived during the previous transfer window. The Portugal international arrived at Manchester United with a certain reputation of having little to no patience for the underachievers. You can see his demeanor and winning mentality when you hear him speak about his side’s victory against Newcastle last weekend.

However, this attitude might bring him to a falling out with some of his teammates soon. To the already infamous argument he had against Harry Maguire when they lost 6-1, we can add today’s recrimination against Alex Telles. It all took place during a ‘rondo’ in which Bruno didn’t get the pass he was expecting.

The Mirror reported that he yelled at the newcomer and demanded perfection during training sessions. This type of mentality didn’t exist at the club after Sir Alex Ferguson left the institution. Fernandes brings a new approach to everyday work and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is extremely happy with the results.

Bruno behaves like a captain.

The behavior that Bruno Fernandes is showing in recent weeks is directly in line with how a captain behaves inside a dressing room. Even though some players might complain about his ways, nobody can tell him anything because he makes the maximum effort at Carrington.

The rest of the United players are starting to feel the Bruno Fernandes effect and that winning mentality they urgently needed. With an upcoming match against Paris Saint-Germain, the Red Devils need this type of a leader when they face one of the most recent Champions League finalists.

Perhaps the manager won’t give him the honor soon, but we can easily see Bruno getting the captain’s armband sometime in the future at Manchester United. Watching how he confronts every teammate when they don’t make all the effort, it’s really a no-brainer.
