It is time to have a look at the Premier League fixture at St. James’ Park between Newcastle and Manchester United with the Player Ratings.

Manchester United finally bounced back from their huge defeat in the Premier League to Tottenham. Consequently, the Red Devils thrashed Newcastle at St. James’ Park after a tough fight from the hosts.

Right after two minutes in the game, Solskjaer’s side faced an unfortunate own goal from winger Luke Shaw.

Although, it did not take long for United to set things on level. A sublime corner kick from Juan Mata met Harry Maguire’s directional header into the far post.

Furthermore, Bruno Fernandes missed a golden opportunity to take the lead in the 58th minute. Subsequently, stopper Karl Darlow got the best of the Portugal playmaker to make a brilliant save.

On the other hand, Newcastle upset United backline with a strong attacking prowess from Saint-Maximin. In addition, David de Gea made a heart-throbbing save from an attempt from Callum Wilson.

The comeback kings are back.

However, the “comeback kings” put forth a classic show of passing and finishing late in the second half.

In turn of events, a rapid counter-attack after a Newcastle corner kick produced a jawdropping goal from Fernandes. The Portuguese received the ball from Marcus Rashford only to put it in the top right corner.

Four minutes later, Aaron Wan-Bissaka netted his debut goal on his 50th appearance for United.

In quick succession, Rashford slotted the fourth goal for Solskjaer’s side in the injury time with a right-foot finish past Darlow.
