Reports from South America over fears of major football legend’s health, he had contact with a COVID-19 positive footballer.

South American football legend has the whole world worried over his health after getting in contact with a COVID-19 positive player. There are two proper legends who are currently at the considered “risk age” of the population. One is Brazilian Pele and the other is Diego Maradona.

‘O’Rei’ went into isolation from the first moment the virus was exposed to the public due to his advanced age (79). He has been known to take care of his body throughout his life, which is why he reached such an advanced age in good health. The other legend who could be in danger is Diego Maradona.

As Gimnasia’s manager, ‘Pelusa’ is constantly in contact with his players and one of them just contracted the virus. Diego is the one we are talking about, he had contact with striker Nicolas Contin. This happened during Gimnasia’s most recent match. After the forward presented loss of smell and taste, he got a test and it just came out positive.

Maradona hugged and kissed Contin.

The moment everybody is concerned about was during one of these matches. We can see an image of Maradona hugging Contin after getting subbed two days ago. No further information about Diego’s health has been shared by the club at this moment.

Gimnasia only shared the details of the striker’s condition and confirmed he has mild symptoms. They issued a statement on their official Twitter account with no mention of the manager. Diego Maradona is considered at risk due to the lifestyle he’s led over the years and the whole world is concerned about him.

We will keep you posted on his condition as soon as we get fresh information. But for now, all we can do is wish that ‘Pelusa’ is doing well and we hope he didn’t get infected with the virus.
